Program Objective:
Applications will be due Friday, November 18th for the Commission’s Megasite Grant Program. Applications should be submitted on the Special Projects online application and conform to the following parameters and content:
- Individual applications will be limited to $12.5 million annually for FY 2012 through FY 2014.

Only applicants successful in securing FY 2011 Megasite awards will constitute the applicant pool for all subsequent Megasite Program funding.

Initial applications must describe how these and future Commission funds will be used.

Multi-jurisdictional applications with agreed-upon cost and revenue sharing agreements are encouraged.

Applicants must delineate their capability and intent to secure non-Commission financing for major components of the project. Leveraging of significant non-Commission funds will be a consideration in Special Project Committee deliberations.
- Applications must include the following (preliminary engineering studies and other relevant documents should be attached, if available):
(a) status of site control, including option terms, if any
(b) environmental and land use constraints (i.e. rights-of-way or easements to be secured)
(c) permits required, including time required for issuance
(d) utility and transportation infrastructure requirements
(e) estimated grading costs and schedule
